This one-of-a-kind strand is composed of natural Momo coral beads—cut into soft barrel and cushion forms and hand-faceted to reflect light with delicate brilliance.

The coral, sourced from the cold, deep waters off Japan and Taiwan at depths of 150–300 metres, displays a saturated vermilion hue—an exquisite reddish-orange tone that has earned Momo coral its reputation as one of the most desirable varieties. Known as Corallo Cerasuolo in Italy, this coral has been used in fine jewellery since the late 19th century and continues to be celebrated for its warm, flattering glow and spiritual significance.

The extra-long, 101.5cm, necklace is artfully graduated in size, with the largest 14mm bead at the centre tapering gently toward the ends, creating a balanced and graceful silhouette. It is finished with an ornate antique vintage sterling silver box clasp, finely detailed in repoussé motifs and set with a square coral cabochon at its centre—a subtle but striking accent that completes the composition with period charm.
